Savannah is such a gorgeous, picturesque town and Jan Thompson captures it perfectly in the next installment of Savannah Sweethearts. We were introduce to Ming in book 1 as Heidi's brother and I quite enjoyed getting to know more about him in this story. Sabine was the newcomer in this book, but don't let her "appearance" deceive you. In my mind she is a willowy, yet striking woman who is a little on the subdued side. Don't let her fool you, she is also determined and fiery in a devious kind of way. Kind hearted and struggling with forgiving her sister, her story is told in small doses so you really get to know her throughout the book. By the end... when it really counts... you are totally invested in both of them and seeing their love blossom and what's going to happen next. You have a sideline seat in watching thie relationship grow, their faith grow, and their capacity for forgiveness grow. This is a fabulous story that could stand alone, but is so much better when you read the rest of the series...Product details

Sabine Hu had a promising modeling career that ended after an auto accident three years ago. After years of intense physical therapy she found a new job as a real estate agent and, for the most part, keeps to herself and stays in the background.
Ming Wei has decided to sell his PI company to Helen Hu, a high-profile private investigator, if she will agree to buy it. In the meantime he works with Helen and is interested in getting to know her sister, Sabine, better. He feels sure he can draw her out of her shell so he comes up with a plan to spend more time with her. She is a real estate agent and he has a house to sell...perfect combination. However, with his line of work danger comes calling and puts Sabine and her mother in the grips of a dangerous man. Can he find and rescue them before it is too late?
Both Sabine and Ming have scars—not only outward scars that show but deep scars within as well that need healing. Will they open their hearts to God and allow Him to heal those scars? Ming and Sabine are great together and I enjoyed their story. I didn't care for Helen at first but started to like her just a little bit toward the end as she too opened up. Forgiveness, trusting others and God, dangerous situations, suspenseful moments, family, reconciliation, joys, faith and love make this a heartwarming story.

I was so happy the way this story unfolds there were challenges, forgiveness, love and life lessons learned and most of all God right in the center and a happy ending.
Another wonderful book set in Savannah. I loved this book. It is well written. Loved the spiritual emphasis. I totally fell in love with Ming and Sabine. I have already started reading the next book in this series.
Just finished "Tell You Soon ". Read the first book in the series and went right into this one. Wow! Both great books, # 3 is waiting on my . Jan T. is a gifted author. Can't put her books down... I enjoy romantic novels but often they can be predictable and therefore boring. The suspense and trust in the Lord found in these books make them special. The biblical references and message had an impact on my life... it's true that God's Word does not return void. Thank you Jan!
Adventure, romance, some detective work and rescue — this book has it all. A clean read that will keep you turning pages.
Tell you Soon by Jan Thompson is Book 2 in the Savannah Sweetheart Series and I must say I loved this book.
The book gives us romance with doses of suspense intermingled,giving us an exciting read.
The characters of Ming and Sabine are well developed and we see their faith in the Lord..
This can be read as a stand alone but reading the entire series adds a depth to all the characters.

Tell You Soon is Book 2 in Savannah Sweethearts series, and it delivers on its promise of celebrating Faith, Hope, and Love. It is a beautiful, graceful story with a spiritual arc. Sabine and Ming both have to deal with painful results of serious injuries. A former model and now a real estate agent, Sabine is scarred both emotionally and physically, what made her somewhat of a loner. She is content to live such life - until Ming decides to break down the walls she'd built around her heart. He wants to sell his house, and she becomes his real estate agent. But can she allow friendship between them to progress into something more?.. And of course, I liked the suspenseful aspect of the story, and the twists I didn't expect.
But my favorite part of Ms. Thompson's books is how she always shows that with God, everything is possible!
